Avendar: the Crucible of Legends is an multi-user fantasy role-playing game. On these pages you'll find everything you need to know about how to begin your adventures.

* Lesser spirit shield no longer reduces all damage.
* Meditative strike damage adjusted.
* Shield slam may now be countered via the counter skill and form of the
mockingbird, no longer hits fled targets, and defenses now reduce the
damage.
* The learn toggle may now be used while sleeping.
* A character's pretitles will now appear in their score.
* Abilities list format updated.
* Soul flare now properly echoes when it ends.
* Soul flare no longer doubles its effect.
* Air bubble now echoes correctly if a person is already able to breathe
underwater.
* Gifted's fail chance removed.
* Aristocrat now gives a good amount of money.
* Birds of prey now purge correctly when the owner quits.
* Improvement rate for both archery and arc shot improved.
* Disjunction now works correctly.
* Jab damage lowered.
* Headbutt damage lowered.
* All characters created on accounts now may create with surnames.
* Additional languages now cost 1 train instad of 2.
* Wind surge damage adjusted.
* Absorb electricity now additionally heightens chances of iterative attacks.
* Blindfighting now has a chance of getting through smokescreen.
* Cone of cold now works correctly.
* Ball lightning lag reduced slightly to match other templar area spells.
* Alter Self now globally targetable.
* Poisoned containers no longer remain poisoned when empty.
* Dancing sword items end up in your inventory when the affect ends.
* Stab damage reduced.
* Ethron may now be psionicists.
* Assassin and psionicist are now part of the mentalist designation.
* Night vision activation lag removed.
* Blinding dust and nerve no longer provoke an immediate attack against the
user.
* Mindshield now protects against a number of mind-affecting powers
* Many assassin skills no longer have a mana cost
* Disguise no longer changes your name on where
* Vital strike functionality changed
* Cloak is now a psionic focus.
* Assassin mana gains slightly improved
* Envenom can no longer use generic poison
* Assassin titles adjusted
* Assassin no longer receives the following skills: scrolls, retreat, disarm,
endurance, exploit, sixth sense, detect hidden
* Assassin now receives the following skills: pick lock, acuity, celerity,
shadow fist, mindshield, prowess, conceal remains, trance, snap kick, stab,
smokescreen
* Windwalk may now be used on hero targets.

* Throw can no longer be used against targets that are in a room you can't see into.
* Where <mobname> will no longer show the mob's keywords.
* Forced march echoes differently when the different affects fade.
* You can no longer scout yourself.
* Bandage now cures poison on the person it is applied to.
* Pounce will now apply its affect for an additional tick.
* Lag on predatory attack slightly reduced.
* Huntersense no longer drains mana when in cities/indoors.
* Yell added for shoot, arcshot.
* Jab is now usable with a mace/empty offhand.
