Avendar: the Crucible of Legends is an multi-user fantasy role-playing game. On these pages you'll find everything you need to know about how to begin your adventures.

Recent Changes

* Earth templars no longer receive the following skills: hand to hand, dual
wield, shield block, wands, staves, crystal shield, shockwave, brittleform,
meteor strike, and staff.
* Durability is now a skill, and its functionality has changed. See help
DURABILITY.
* Stone shield has changed to mantle of earth, and the resultant item has
changed slot. See help MANTLE OF EARTH.
* Magnetic grasp's functionality has changed slightly. See help MAGNETIC
GRASP.
* Shattering blow is now intertial strike, and its functionality has changed.
See help INERTIAL STRIKE.
* Stone phalanx may now be used with any two-handed weapon.
* Earth templars now receive the following new skills: Augmented strength,
charge, whirl, and momentum. See helps AUGMENTED STRENGTH, CHARGE, WHIRL,
MOMENTUM.
* Earth templars now receive the identify and strengthen spells.
* Jaws of the Mountain now correctly accounts for rooms without floors.
* Strengthen now correctly echoes when it fades.
* Axes now correctly factor in weight in their chance to break through parry.
* Branded weapons should always now deal the correct damage.
* Successful usage of steal and sticks to snakes on PCs now correctly set
adrenaline.
* Sticks to snakes will now properly draw the attention of guards when used on
a PC.
* Meditative strike now has a flavour echo when used.

Addendum:
Momentum now has an improvement chance.
Weapon typing will be correct for pugil, pommel, hew, bludgeon, slice, impale, throw, meditative strike, twirl, circle stab, boneshatter, thrust, cleave, stab, batter, inertial strike, flay, gash, and sweep.
Charge and whirl practiceable at ET guildmasters
Inertial strike is now less likely to miss due to fray
Inertial strike damage adjustments.
Rune of earth can now lock doors up or down.
Magnetic grasp no longer laglessly spammable to 100%.
Note to all should be fixed.
