I haven't tested this one myself, but I'm informed that attempting to make an item at Psentil's with a long desc that is over the character limit will consistently crash the mud.

I'd check the VB leatherworker, too, for the same issue.

When I trophy parts from corpses, I can keep getting them even when far above my max weight limit. I can even make potions while over max weight, so I can carry more potions than I should be able to. It's a pretty convenient bug.

Echoes from progs do not check for detects on other people in the room. Specifically speaking, if you can't see the person for whatever reason normally, their name is still revealed in the function that displays the echo to other people in the room.

Not sure if this is a code thing or specific prog thing, but it probably should be a code thing to preclude the possibility of someone writing a "bad prog".

Rated medium due to the potential abusability.

If you are sleeping when the long-necked vials do their bubbling spell-changey thing, you get the echo "A long-necked vial of swirling liquid bubbles faintly." This should probably only happen when you are awake.

(see summary) If you happen to have nofollow on (which happens all the time when you disband a group, and forget to reset nofollow), the goat eats the grass and then fails to follow you.

It is impossible to pick up clothing made by rangers, and the skill spawns the item in the ranger's inventory, meaning they never have to pick it up in the first place.

This is indicative of wear take not being set on the items.

The Hakuran balm is far too effective. Not only does it make low saves classes/races very near impossible to attack the singer, but once IN combat, not nessisarily even WITH the singer, it freezes them you, as I have documented 30+ rounds where youI are unable to flee, quaff potions, speak, attack, order, or PRAY for an immortal's assistance. I doubt this is what was intended.

I rate this as a high priority because of it's frequent abuse/usage with current characters.

The raider leader title is "High Lord", with two words. Also, strictly speaking "the Canyon" is a slang term and is probably inappropriate for a formal title of a leader, even on occasions where it is attached to an informal character.

The sword Thethtil has "mei'tzec" as a material type. The lore describes it as a pre-Sundering artifact. The only source of mei'tzec in the entire world is the meteor up by the Ryarl; this meteor fell many thousands of years after the Sundering. All mei'tzec is entirely in the hands of Dolgrael.

The [charm person] wand worked perfectly on ##### about 10 mins earlier. Then this happened, probably because we attacked at the same time.

Bug: Charm person does not end combat when successful. Intended: Charmed targets cannot attack their masters. This happens because: charm person cannot be cast in combat, so there is no such check. Wands ignore this.

Another issue with tame is that a lot of animals are progged to attack you (especially when you're a ranger in Morn), which makes tame useless.

Making tame a temporary 'subdue' or some such would be great. However, right now it works on almost any aggro mob, and that might be outside the original scope of the skill

Without giving out too much details, there's places to dig in both Jindaska and Morn, and the shovel that can be found in jindaska doesn't function in Morn. Not sure if that is true visa versa as well.


#120 Spells cast by objects work in Oubliette None None bug 09/17/08

When entering the Oubliette [...], all magic is dispelled. It used to function so that no magic works while in there. I was able to use both a [two items that cast spells/grant spell affects] WHILE INSIDE the oubliette. Kestrel: Suspicion is that disp_magic only uses stock spells.

The dispel-on-enter works as intended; what is actually happening here is the nomagic room flag only checks for: casting, brandishing, or quaffing inside the room. These actions are prevented as intended.

Bug: Wands can be zapped within this room, scrolls can be recited within the room and items that cast spells work within it.

This is a code error: obj_cast_spell likely has no check for nomagic rooms.

For some reason, the snare in nendor (game trail) finds it neccesary to force me to do a 'nofollow', whether it makes me lose my charmies, or allows me followers. There doesn't seem to be a reason for that, except to annoy my scholar who just gathered his charmies to help him rank :P

Braka, when you fight him, before he glows blue says he speaks Kankoran. He doesn't. A small bug.
