At Avendar, we are building Europe's system for critical investigations, helping governments fight crime and fraud. Our mission is to make Europe safer. We develop a platform that increases the speed of investigators, detectives, and researchers working within government agencies.
Avendar was founded in early 2025 by three experienced serial founders with over 20 years of experience in fintech, legal, and construction. We have hands-on experience deploying high-risk AI systems in highly regulated environments. Our launching customers include the Dutch National Police, the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security, and the Municipality of Amsterdam.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a GTM Analyst who can help build and execute our commercial strategy across the Netherlands and, over time, across Europe.
The GovTech market is one of the largest opportunities for startups today. Governments are the world's biggest spenders, but selling to them means navigating long buying cycles, tenders, complex DMU's, slow technology adoption, and agencies still relying on 1990s software.
Providing government agencies with the best software will make Europe stronger and more competitive. Successfully entering this market is one of the greatest opportunities of our time, and the strong demand for sovereignty provides tailwinds.
You will help drive Avendar's GTM through both strategy and execution.
The Role
Analyze sales and marketing performance, build business cases, and turn data into action.
Work with the founders to shape and execute our go-to-market strategy, running experiments in new markets, iterating approaches, reviewing deals, and refining sales playbooks. You'll test and learn across marketing, partnerships, and events to see what works.
Execute the GTM plan by drafting proposals and business cases. Improve GTM processes and automation while working closely with the founders and technical team, taking an active role in executing the commercial strategy.
Requirements
- You have an academic degree in a business, technical, or financial field.
- You have 1–4 years of relevant experience, for example in analytics, strategy, sales operations, or a startup environment.
- You have strong analytical skills and work in a structured way.
- You are comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
- You communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
Nice to have
Experience running and evaluating revenue experiments, measuring commercial impact, and analyzing sales funnels in detail. We're looking for someone who uncovers insights that translate directly into commercial impact.

Practicalities
- €3,500 to €5,500 gross monthly salary, based on experience.
